Nature and mother natures intricitate designs triggered photography in me. Fascinating rays of light playing with ferns and grasses. Light glowing through a flower petal revealing a delicate structure . Details making patterns and figures with their own symbolism. A fascinating world I wanted to bring with me not just in my memories. I was wanting to capture it with my camera. Curious to see if the world I saw out there would look the same at home on paper. Light is a moment that I found will not come again. The feeling, the experience, that special scent on a spring evening – the’re the same. But light never and so that special moment will not return.
Photography had a long pause in my life but I took it up in 2011 again. I took a university training and photographed for a while. But after some time I felt a growing need to develop further, to get honest and good critique on my work and on how to move forward. I wanted to try new areas and learn more about light , a lot more. Since then I’ve participated in a number workshops on the subject of lighting and photography.
