About me and how it all started. Nature and mother natures intricitate designs triggered photography in me. Fascinating rays of light playing with ferns and grasses. Light glowing through a flower petal revealing a delicate structure. Details making patterns and figures with their own symbolism. A fascinating world I wanted to bring with me not just in my memories. I was wanting to capture it with my camera. Curious to see if the world I saw out there would look the same at home on paper.
Light is a moment that I found will not come again. The feeling, the experience, that special scent on a spring evening – the’re the same. But light never is and so that special moment will not return.
Today
Photography had a long pause in my life but I took it up in 2011 again. I took a university training and photographed for a while. But after some time I felt a growing need to develop further, to get honest and good critique on my work and on how to move forward. I wanted to try new areas and learn more about light, a lot more. Since then I participate in workshops and network on a regular basis in order to develop even further.
Today I mainly focus on portrait, food & garden photography the last two being intimately connected since I like to produce some of what is served on my plate. But I also have a strong need for producing it in a fair and natural way. So that the natural cycle of nature is preserved. Since I was little a large amount of the forests around me have been preserved which in itself lends me many natural subjects.
My day-to-day profession is as a Business Consultant working with organisations helping them in reaching their objectives. I’m also a passionate gardener and, I have to admit plant collector, and admittedly it takes a lot of my free time.
That’s a bit about me and my photography. I live outside of Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. An area that in itself have spectacular views. If you’re interested in learning more about me and my photography please use the contact form.
Welcome!
